Kings Garn is a privately owned house, in 5 acres of beautiful gardens, providing a peaceful retreat that is ideally positioned in the very heart of the New Forest, 3 miles from Lyndhurst.
Here you will see forest ponies, donkeys and cattle roaming freely and you can enjoy miles of forest walks and bike rides from the front door. You are most welcome to bring your dogs with you and there is no extra charge.
Tucked away in a lovely setting, Kings Garn is close to the small New Forest village of Minstead with a pub, 12th Century Church (including the grave of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle) and Furzey Gardens and tea rooms. Lyndhurst, the 'Capital of the Forest' is just 3 miles away with a tourist information centre, New Forest Museum and a good selection of shops, tea rooms, cafes, pubs and restaurants. There are also plenty of attractions to suit all ages in the area including Bolderwood Deer Sanctuary, the Reptile Centre, Beaulieu Palace and Motor Museum, Paultons Park, Exbury Gardens and the harbour town of Lymington.
It is the ideal holiday base for day trips over a wide area of Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire & the Isle of Wight as well as walking, cycling and golf holidays in the immediate surrounds of the New Forest itself.
